The yield and quality of wine grape are very sensitive to the change of temperature and precipitation, and climate change may have profound effects on the grape wine production. In this paper, the production and climate change of main wine grape producing areas in China were summarized. The effects of temperature, precipitation and disastrous weather on wine grape production were analyzed. It pointed out that the grape producing areas in China would be warmer overall, but the regional differences of dry and wet changes were great, so the effects of climate change were diverse. Xinjiang, Northeast China, Ningxia, Shandong, Gansu and other producing areas are expected to expand the planting range and increase the planting of late-maturing varieties with warming. In northeast China and other areas, the yield may be unstable due to the increase of precipitation change. In Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, high-quality grape planting areas may move northward or decrease due to warming. It is suggested that more experimental studies are needed in China's wine grape production to cope with future climate change.
