An object of the present invention is to provide a heating cooker suitable for handling a plurality of cooking menus including the use of liquids. A heating device comprising: A heating chamber formed by an upper lid and a lower lid; a first container removably stored in the heating chamber; a second container removably stored in the first container; lifting means for lifting the second container; and heating means attached to one or both of the upper lid and the lower lid, Wherein the height position of the heating means is defined as a pre-cooking start position and a post-cooking position for each cooking menu, moves to the pre-cooking start position of the cooking menu in response to designation of the cooking menu, and is maintained at the post-cooking position until a next designation of the cooking menu is made after the cooking.
