WRKY transcription factors (TFs), as plant-specific transcription factors, play significant roles in various biological and abiotic stress. In this study, based on RNA-seq analyses, many differentially expressed grapes W RKY genes with unknown function were found during the process of SO2, fumigation combined with low temperature preservation. Through amino acid sequence homology comparison, VvWRKY70 which had the highest similarity to the amino acid sequence of AtWRKY70 was selected for bioinformatics and expression characteristics analysis. The results of bioinformatics analysis showed that the promoter region of VvWRKY70 gene contained W-box element and the response elements to the hormones such as methyl jasmonate and salicylic acid. VvWRKY70 encoding protein was composed of 322 amino acids with a molecular weight about 36.57 ku and hydrophilic, rich in serine/threonine.
