Provided is a coated electric cable comprising a core wire and a coating layer provided around the core wire, wherein: the coating layer contains a fluorine-containing copolymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene unit, a hexafluoropropylene unit, and a fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit; the content of the hexafluoropropylene unit in the fluorine-containing copolymer is 9.5-10.5 percent by mass relative to total monomer units; the content of the fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit in the fluorine-containing copolymer is 0-0.3 percent by mass relative to total monomer units; and a melt flow rate of the fluorine-containing copolymer at 372 degrees centigrade is 5.6-8.9 g/10 min.
