To provide a resin film achieving both bending resistance suitable for an optical film and sufficient surface hardness as a protective film.SOLUTION: A film having the following properties is provided: the film is anisotropic, in which a ratio of tensile elastic moduli is 1.50 or more obtained by a tension test for an X direction that is one direction within the film plane as a tensile direction and a tension test for a Y direction that is orthogonal to the X direction as a tensile direction, and the film has a tensile elastic modulus of 1.8 GPa or more in each of the above tests, a total ray transmittance of 85 percent or more measured in accordance with JIS K7361-1, and a yellowness of 5 or less calculated in accordance with JIS K7373-2006.
