To provide a rice cooker capable of supplying a pot with an accurate amount of water from a water vessel before cooking rice.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: a pot; a housing which houses the pot; a water vessel which is provided in the housing and houses water; a water supply part which moves the water housed in the water vessel to the pot before cooking rice; a water level sensor detecting water level in the water vessel; an input part receiving an operation instruction by a user; and a control part which controls the water supply part so as to move a designated amount of water according to the operation instruction to the water on the basis of a result of detection of the water level sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24
