A rice cooker (100) comprises: a rice cooker body (1); a pot (2) removably housed in the rice cooker body; a heating coil (9) for induction-heating the pot; and a heating control unit (10) for controlling the operation of the heating coil. The rice cooker body has an outer frame (4) that houses the pot and the heating coil. The outer frame is formed in a cylindrical shape, by crimping both end sides (4a, 4b) in a longitudinal direction of a long rectangular metal sheet. The outer frame is provided: with a hole (24) on one end side; and, on the other end side, a protrusion (25) which fits into the hole.
