To provide a novel material capable of improving hair appearance and a composition comprising the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for improving hair appearance which comprises a peptide having an amino acid sequence of WY or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a solvate as an active ingredient. The composition can be used to improve the deterioration of the appearance of hair and the deterioration of the appearance of hair can be considered to be caused by aging.
