Problem to be solved: To provide a bag body for a civil engineering work provided with a suspension rope which can be firmly connected by a simple connecting operation even by a person unfamiliar with the knitting of the rope. Solution: The suspension rope 30 is composed of a hollow knitting rope formed by knitting a plurality of strands 31 as one unit, the plurality of strands 31 are composed of a bundle of a plurality of monofilament threads 32 having uneven twisted surfaces 31 a on the peripheral surfaces, and the uneven twisted surfaces 31 a are exposed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the suspension rope 30.
