To solve problems in an electric coffee maker comprising a flow channel for a drip stroke and a flow channel for a hot water addition stroke, the electric coffee maker suppressing water from being left on a boiler when the whole steps of making coffee by feeding an amount of water in a cup to the boiler are completed, however, there is needed a measure with respect to abnormal occurrence of excessive water feeding.SOLUTION: For occurrence of abnormality of excessive water feeding to a boiler, a water level sensor for sensing a water amount at an upper limit water level is provided for stopping water feeding.
