To provide a silicone acrylic graft copolymer resin capable of adding transparency and slidability and a manufacturing method therefor, and a coating agent containing the copolymer resin.SOLUTION: There is provided a silicone acrylic graft copolymer resin by polymerizing (A) polyorganosiloxane of 50 to 99 pts.mass, (B) an acrylic acid ester monomer and/or methacrylic acid ester monomer of 1 to 50 pts.mass, where total of the A component and the B component is 100 pts.mass, in which the (A) polyorganosiloxane has (a1) a RSiOunit of 80 to 99 mole percent based on total mole of all siloxane units, and (a2) a RSiOunit and/or SiOof 1 to 20 mole percent based on total mole of the all siloxane unit, and optionally may contain a RSiOunit of 0 to 1 mole percent based on total mole of all siloxane units.
