PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a climacteric disorder improving agent, food and drink, and supplement which are free from risk of adverse effect, and ameliorating symptoms which occur in the period of climacteric disorder.SOLUTION: Grape seed extract contains various catechins such as a monomer of flavan-3-ol, a gallate-type of monomer of flavan-3-ol, an oligomer of flavan-3-ol and a gallate-type of oligomer of flavan-3-ol, and climacteric disorder improving agent, food and drink, and supplement having the grape seed extract of the present invention as a major component are effective for preventing intestinal bacterial flora from becoming bad which occurs in the period of climacteric disorder, and ameliorating weight gain symptom and reducing symptom of glucose tolerance which are caused by intestinal bacterial flora becoming bad.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
