To provide a carriage and a palette which facilitate both the transshipment of a luggage between fork lifts, and the loading and unloading of an elongated cargo hung down by a lift so as to efficiently cope with a change in situation during transportation.SOLUTION: A carriage of the present invention includes a load-carrying platform in a substantially rectangular shape, and a plurality of wheels located therebelow, allows pillars standing upright to be installed at four corners of the load-carrying platform, respectively, and further includes a palette that can be loaded on the load-carrying platform with either a flat plate surface or a girder leg surface facing up.
