HEAT INSULATING MEMBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

To provide a heat insulating member excellent in heat insulation while suppressing costs, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A heat insulating member 20 comprises a first heat insulating layer 21, a second heat insulating layer 22 laminated on the first heat insulating layer 21, and a heat reflection layer 23 laminated on the second heat insulating layer 22. The second heat insulating layer 22 has: a porous structure in which a plurality of particles are connected to form a skeleton, and which has a pore inside, and has a surface and a hydrophobic site at least on the surface; and an aqueous binder. The first heat insulating layer 21 and the second heat insulating layer 22, and the second heat insulating layer 22 and the heat reflecting layer 23 are respectively bonded by the aqueous binder contained in the second heat insulating layer 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
