To provide a measurement kit and measurement method of a biogenic substance capable of achieving stable measurement accuracy without reducing sensitivity, in measurement of a biogenic substance which is performed using color reaction generated by oxidation condensation of 4-amino antipyrine and hydrogen donator in coexistence of hydrogen peroxide generated by making an oxidation enzyme act to a biogenic substance and peroxidase.SOLUTION: There are provided a measurement kit and a measurement method of biogenic substance, in the measurement kit of biogenic substance, hydrogen peroxide generated by making an oxidation enzyme act to a biogenic substance performs oxidation condensation of 4-amino antipyrine and hydrogen donator in coexistence of peroxidase, therefore color reaction of a reaction liquid is generated, the color reaction is subjected to colorimetric determination.
