To provide a sterilization method of a cap and a sterilization device of the cap capable of sterilizing the cap in a short time with a simple step, without using a sterilizing agent.SOLUTION: A sterilization method of a cap and a sterilization device of the cap are provided for sterilizing the cap, by carrying the cap with an opening face set upward, spraying hot water to an opening part, making the hot water overflow to an outer face of the cap, and storing the hot water in the opening part and holding the same.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
