The present invention relates to a composition having the effect of inducing sleep or ameliorating sleep disorders, comprising a natural substance-derived ingredient as an active ingredient and, more particularly, to a composition which, by comprising a natural substance-derived ingredient as an active ingredient, does not cause the side effects of synthetic drugs and has an excellent effect of inducing sleep or ameliorating sleep disorders. According to the present invention, the composition of the present invention, which comprises a natural substance-derived ingredient as an active ingredient and has the effect of inducing sleep or ameliorating sleep disorders, has an excellent sleep-inducing effect and a sleep quality improvement effect by reducing sleep latency and increasing sleep duration, and thus can be effectively used to induce sleep or ameliorate sleep disorders.
