The present invention relates to: a Microccocus cohnii MC-2 strain; a lysate, a culture solution, and an extract solution thereof; a composition comprising same; and a use thereof for improving the condition of skin. A novel Microccocus cohnii strain according to one embodiment has the effects of skin-aging prevention, skin wrinkle reduction, skin inflammation alleviation, atopic dermatitis alleviation, pruritus inhibition and skin whitening, and thus can be variously used for skin improvement, prevention or treatment.
