A roasting apparatus comprises a trough which has a gutter through which raw material to be roasted is transferred, a feeder which supplies the raw material to the trough, a raw material feeding mechanism which gives vibration to the trough to transfer the raw material, burners which are arranged at predetermined intervals opposite to and above the bottom surface of the gutter of the trough, and heats and dries the raw material flowing through the gutter, and heaters which are arranged on the back side of the trough.
