Problem to be solved. To provide novel means for suppressing moisture absorption of a composition that contains gelatin. Solution. A gelatin-containing composition contains at least one fragrance selected from the group consisting of citral, linalool, terpineol and eugenol. Also provided is a method for suppressing moisture absorption of a gelatin-containing composition, in which at least one fragrance selected from the group consisting of citral, linalool, terpineol and eugenol is incorporated in the gelatin-containing composition.
