This plastic bottle comprises: a mouth; a shoulder continuous from the mouth; a trunk continuous from the shoulder; and a bottom continuous from the trunk. A sectional shape along the peripheral direction of the trunk is a square having round corners. The maximum peripheral length LMAX of the trunk, the mass M of the plastic bottle, and the full capacity CMAX of the plastic bottle have relationships represented by the following expressions (1) and (2). LMAX/CMAX≤0.162 (mm/mL) (1) and CMAX/M≥52 (mL/g) (2).
