A stock production device of the invention comprises: a cooking container for holding a liquid used for producing stock; putting means for putting a stock raw material into inside of the cooking container which holds the liquid; heating means for heating the cooking container; temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of the cooking container; timing means for measuring a time; and control means for, on the basis of a kind of the stock, temperature detected by the temperature detection means and the measurement result measured by the timing means, controlling the putting means and the heating means.
