The material discipline involves multiple disciplines such as chemistry, physics and electronics, and the food major involves food production, processing, testing and analysis, and engineering design. The integration of the two can promote the cultivation of comprehensive talents in all aspects. The article mainly studies the cross-integration of food packaging science and material disciplines, reforms food packaging science and material forming experimental teaching as research methods, and provides new ideas for cross-disciplinary curriculum reform.
