The strawberry fruit is delicious and sweet; it is very popular among consumers. However, its high water content makes it susceptible to mechanical injury and microbial infestation, leading to spoilage and deterioration. Therefore, proper post-harvest preservation methods play an important role in enhancing its economic value. We conducted a scientific analysis on the influence of different films packaging on strawberry fruit quality, to provide a technical basis and theoretical support for the storage and preservation of strawberries during the post-harvest shelf life and the industrial production of environmentally friendly plastic films. A twin-screw extruder and films blowing machine were used to prepare polyglycolic acid (PGA) /polybutylene adipate (PBAT) biodegradable composite membranes.
