A non-hygroscopic adhesive for packaging and an improved method of packing food using the non-hygroscopic adhesive is described. The adhesive is applied to the entire length of the margins of packaging material (the breadth of adhesive used is usually approx. 1 cm). Foods are wrapped by closely apposing the margins without any open surface. "V" cuts are made for easy tearing. For additional safety, the paper packaging may be made first before final packaging.
