A caffeinated freeze pop product is described, which contains: water; a sweetener; preservatives; caffeine; citric acid; a flavouring agent; and a colouring agent. The sweetener can be any type of sweetener, but is preferably high fructose corn syrup, and the preservatives are generally sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and adenosine monophosphate. The flavouring agent can be of any flavour, including cherry, orange, blue raspberry, tropical fruit, sour apple and wild berry. Further, the colour of the caffeinated freeze pops can be any colour, including red, orange, blue, purple, yellow and green. The method for making the freeze pops generally includes: dissolving the preservatives in the water; mixing in the citric acid, caffeine and sweetener; and combining the caffeinated mixture with flavouring and colouring agents for visual and flavour appeal.
