A beverage dispenser capable of supplying 2 or more beverages is described. It includes a base and a dispensing head removably attached to the base without additional fasteners. Beverage concentrates and diluent are supplied through separate conduits in the base, each of which has a normally closed valve that normally blocks fluid flow. The dispensing head has ≥1 passageway that receives liquid from an associated base conduit. A projection associated with each passageway opens the associated conduit valve to allow fluid flow from the base to the head. Dispensing valves in the dispensing head regulate beverage dispensing. By selective opening of the dispensing valves, various beverages are formed from combinations of one or more liquids. The dispensing head includes inlet and outlet openings at each end of a passage extending through a body, the inlet opening having a smaller cross-sectional area than the outlet opening.
