Colour selecting decorticating equipment for decorticating brown buckwheat, which allows decortication of a small batch of buckwheat by omitting particle size selection, requires less labour and space and makes less noise is described. The equipment comprises a brown buckwheat decorticator, a crushed particle screen, a pneumatic sorter, a colour sorter and conveyors. The equipment has a control box which can select the colour setting of the colour sorter.
