Disclosed is a blended tea beverage, packed in a container, which has a dark brown colour, no bitterness or astringency, a refreshing taste and a reduced amount of precipitate during prolonged storage. The blended tea beverage comprises an extract from at least 1 raw material selected from each of 2 or more of the following 5 groups: stem leaves from Camellia sinensis; stem leaves from a plant other than C. sinensis; a cereal grain; a plant-derived raw material other than stem leaves and a cereal grain; and a bacterium-derived raw material. The blended tea beverage has the following properties: caffeine content <150 ppm; Brix value <0.5%; haze value <10; and colour tone value >0.8 as measured at a wavelength of 420 nm.
